Spend time in Bangkok, head deep into the jungle for a unique elephant encounter before relaxing… or playing on the beach at the end.

However, we also urge you to head into the city for a sensory adventure the kids will love. Explore the backwater klongs (canals) on a longtail boat or experience the city’s frenetic buzz from the back of a tuk tuk!

At the end of a busy day exploring relax, or play, by the hotel’s spacious riverside swimming pool, one of the largest in Bangkok with plenty of space in the shallows for kids to splash about. You can also join in the Anantara cooking school or from a break from the kids The Chang Noi Club for Children offers supervised activities from Thai dance and table tennis to bracelet making.

    Day 4 – 5 Elephant Hills

Head to the airport for your flight to Phuket, or Surat Thani. On arrival the Elephant Hills team will drive you drive deep into the heart of the beautiful Khao Sok National Park (approx. 3 ours drive). Settle into your luxury ensuite safari tent before your first elephant encounter. The whole family will have a chance to interact with these gentle giants and learn the secrets of their mahouts. Feed them, scrub them clean and watch them bathe, a truly unforgettable experience. The rest of your days will be spent canoeing down the Sok River, jungle trekking and cruising the lake with striking views of limestone mountains and cliffs covered with rich vegetation. Not only is Khao Sok scenically spectacular but its also home to a wonderful array of wildlife and birds. Spend the second night in the floating rainforest camp with time to explore by canoe, you’ll see monkeys, hornbills and even hear gibbons calling in the trees!

*This itinerary is great for kids 7 years or older due to the floating jungle camp on a lake. Children under 7 can enjoy the same experiences but would spend 2 nights in the main camp at Elephant Hills*
