Santiburi Beach Resort, Koh Samui
Santiburi Beach Resort is located on a 300 metre private swimming beach in Mae Nam Bay on the north coast of Koh Samui, just 15 minutes from Samui Airport and 5 minutes from Bo Phut fisherman’s village with its many shops, restaurants and bars. The resort offers 96 luxurious Suites and Villas set within 23 acres of exotic palm filled gardens. Perfect for both honeymooners and families looking for secluded luxury within easy reach of local life.
Santiburi Beach Resort
The Duplex Suites are found in the main building overlooking the pool area, whereas the villas are spread around the tropical gardens, distinguished only by their location. Decorated in elegant Thai style with parquet floors and beautiful Siamese furniture, all of the villas feature a terrace with views of either the beach or the garden. All rooms offer top of the range amenities such as flat screen satellite TVs, DVD/CD players and WiFi, some also have private plunge pools. We'd especially recommend the new Grand Reserve Pool Villas, which boast a private 40 metre square swimming pool, larger outside deck and a more modern design.
Dining options include a choice of four restaurants – with The Beach House being a firm guest favourite and the location of the resort’s famous theme nights. Sala Thai offers a traditional Thai menu, whilst light bights and snacks are served at the Pool Bar and The Lounge.
Other facilities include a large swimming pool and smaller children's pool, Panya & Yim's Kid's Club, an 18 hole championship golf course, fully equipped fitness room, squash court, Thai boxing ring, a watersports centre, tennis courts, soccer field and even a jogging track. The use of bicycle throughout your stay are available free of charge for children. Not to be missed is the outstanding Santiburi Spa. Treatment rooms boast private Jacuzzi gardens and offer a range of delectable signature treatments.
Kids Activities
Santiburi offers a vast array of activities including a complimentary kids club with sleep, movie and gaming room, along with a handicraft centre and beach babysitters.
Kids can enjoy billiards, petanque, ping-pong, kayaks, windsurfing and sailing with free coaching. Other family facilities include a Thai boxing ring, a watersports centre, tennis courts, a football pitch and even a jogging track. Kids also have free use of bicycles. If that doesn’t make for a good nights’ sleep, nothing will!
There is also a daily programme of creative activities, such as crafting lotus flowers, weaving with palm fronds, batik and painting on cotton.
Beyond the resort discover the natural beauty of the island in the south with tropical mountain walks, hidden waterfalls and even a butterfly farm. Don’t miss the Big Buddha statue – a must see symbol of the island.
