Family Holidays at Four Seasons Chiang Mai

With a beautiful location in the Mae Rim Valley just 30 minutes’ drive from Chiang Mai, the Four Seasons Resort is a place where you and the family can immerse yourselves in authentic Thai culture. There is absolutely loads to keep the kids busy both inside and outside the resort from exploring the Resort’s extensive gardens, learning the art of Thai cooking and planting sprouts in the rice fields and stretching yoga poses to hiking through the jungle and feeding baby elephants!

Family facilities at Four Seasons

The resort has a comprehensive list of activities on offer for familes including

Rice Planting - Become Thai farmers for a day, and learn how rice is grown. Get ready in the Mor Hom (traditional farmer costume) and join the farmers transplanting sprouts in the lush green rice fields.

Cooking Class - Embark on a culinary adventure and sign up for a family cooking class at the Resort’s Cooking School, where the kids will be inspired to cook for you back at home.

Muay Thai Boxercise - Lanna Muay Thai trains some of the best fighters in Thailand and their trainer is available to give you and your family a fun, challenging workout you won’t forget.

Yoga for Youngsters - A great introduction to yoga for young ones and teens, Yoga for Youngster focuses on simple breathing techniques, yoga postures, stretching, relaxation and visualization that will help children increase their flexibility, strength, coordination, and build self-esteem and confidence.

Spa for Kids - Looking good and feeling good is just as important to little girl as it is to big girls, so the Spa at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai has created a menu of treatments that can be enjoyed by little ones on their own – or by parents and kids together.

Kids club - The Gecko Club at Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai welcomes children ages 4 to 12 and offers complimentary games and activities daily. Kids under 4 are welcome to join when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Activities include a garden tour with flower garland, Sa paper picture frame making, kite making, clay pot creation, stone painting, paper plate flying, making a vegetable garden animals and insect searching

There is also a children’s pool area connecting to the main pool and the resort can arrange babysitting for parents needing some well-deserved time off for a romantic meal one evening.

Best rooms for families

Rooms are made up of Pavilions (in the Rice Terraces, or Garden), Pool Villas and Two and Three Bedroom Residences. Pavilions can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child free of charge in the parent’s room. Family Residences have one king room with an adjoining junior twin room - ideal for a family younger children, Those with larger families are particularly well suited to their two bedroom residences with a bedroom each and spacious living room – these can accommodate up to 6 people.
