    Days 1-3 The Peninsular Bangkok

    Bursting with culture, Bangkok is one of the most vibrant and exciting Asian cities to visit. Spend a few days exploring the ancient temples, sparkling palaces and exclectic markets whilst enjoying the delicious cuising this energnetic city is famous for. Stay at the luxurious Peninsula Hotel which enjoys a fantatic location on the banks of the Chao Praya River.

  • Day 4 - 5 Orient Express

    Days 4-7 Eastern & Oriental Rail Journey from Bangkok to Singapore

    This legendary green and cream luxury train has captured the imagination of thousands of discerning travellers over the years and it is a great way to add an element of indulgence and relaxation in the middle of your holiday. The E&O’ winds its way north through Malaysia, via Kuala Lumpur and Penang, into southern Thailand, stopping enroute at Kanchanaburi (and the Bridge over the River Kwai) before terminating in Bangkok. This corner of South East Asia is utterly enchanting – a tropical expanse of rainforest, rice paddies and exotic landscapes.

    Depart from Bangkok at 17.30 and settle into your private State Cabin as the train rolls through Bangkok City to countryside. Dinner is served in one of the luxurious dining cars. Afterwards, head to the Bar Car to relax with fellow travellers or retire to your cosy converted cabin.

    The following morning, after breakfast, alight at Kanchanburi for your choice of tour. The Classic includes guided visits to the River Kwai Bridge and Thai-Burma Railway Museum. Tracks to Unseen Thailand tour will have you biking through rice paddies, stopping off at a local farm. The Local Flabours tour explores the wet market, a rice noodle house and combines a raft cruise wit a cooking class.  Return to the train and look forwrad to and exceptional lunch and dinner.

    Today begins with a gentle knock at your door as your cabin steward brings breakfast in bed. Spend the morning at leisure before taking in splendid scenery as we make our way through Malaysia. After brunch we arrive at Kuala Kangsar. Travel by coach to Labu Kabong to discover rural Malaysian life. Take a guided tour thourgh rice paddies ending with refreshments. Rejoin the train for a cocktail accompanied by live piano music before a glamourous final dinner on board.

    On your final day you will arrive into Singapore for your onward travels.

  • Day 1 - The Fullerton Bay, Singapore

    Days 8-11 The Fullerton Bay, Singapore

    On arrival our local guides will meet you and transfer you to The Fullerton Bay. Offering spectacular views of the bay and the Singapore skyline and located right in the heart of the Central Business District and the Arts and Cultural precinct, and within easy reach of the main shopping malls of Orchard Road, this really is the place to stay in Singapore. 

    Spend your days discovering the city for yourself. As a starting point, one of Singapore’s countless attractions is the Singapore flyer from which you can enjoy a bird’s eye view of the city and surrounding harbour. Head to Little India or Chinatown for an intriguing glimpse of tradition and history, discover handicrafts from Kashmir silk to peacock feathers and flower garlands, basket ware, leather products and jewellery.  Enjoy a legendary Singapore Sling at the Long Bar at the Raffles Hotel. Meander around the harbour or walk along the river from Clarke Quay to Boat Quay, a charming collection of traditional old houses which have been preserved and now house a host of local riverside restaurants.
