Luxury Singapore Stopover

It is a perfect soft introduction to Asia with clean, cosmopolitan streets offering first class shopping, an excellent choice of dining from fine dining to street food, some extremely cool bars and clubs and a quality stock of boutique and luxury hotels for a comfortable retreat at the end of the day. Singapore is a city of contrasts with a culturally rich, multi-ethnic mix of Chinese, Malay, Indian and other influences, all of whom retain a strong sense of tradition and identity against the backdrop of the modern skyscrapers.

We’d suggest at least 3 nights allowing you two full days to explore the city and properly re-charge after your flight. To get the most out of your stay our local guides can introduce you to a side of the city you might otherwise miss. We’ve created a suggested itinerary incorporating the highlights of the city, however we can tailor a package to suit your individual requirements, just ask one of our experienced consultants.

  • Day 1 Singapore

On arrival our local guides will meet you and transfer you to The Fullerton Bay Hotel, a firm favourite with Turquoise guests. Offering spectacular views of the bay and the Singapore skyline and located right in the heart of the Central Business District and the Arts and Cultural precinct, and within easy reach of the main shopping malls of Orchard Road, this really is the place to stay in Singapore.

Alternatively escape the hustle and bustle of downtown and consider staying on Sentosa Island, just 10 minutes by taxi and a world away. Capella Singapore is a beautifully spacious resort made up of a complimentary fusion of restored British colonial buildings, with newly created contemporary buildings and villas.  Surrounded my 30 acres of lush green lawns dotted with trees and facing the South China Sea this luxurious resort is just steps from the beach. It really is a world away and quite unexpected.

  • Day 2 - Explore Chinatown

    Day 2 Discover Singapore

Spend your morning discovering the city with a leisurely bumboat ride along the Singapore River. The Singapore River is a small river with great historical importance. It is the place where Sir Stamford Raffles made as the 1st trading port in Singapore. The ride will end at Merlion Park at Esplanade Bridge. At the Merlion Park, come face to face with Singapore’s very own tourism mascot, the Merlion, standing in the foreground, whilst the the structural masterpiece of visionary architect Moshe Safdie, the Marina Bay Sands Hotel stands majestically in its awesome granduer. Next stop will be one of the oldest and most important Hokkien temple in Singapore, Thian Hock Keng Temple. Next and final stop is the National Orchid Garden, within the Singapore Botanic Gardens, which boasts a colorful display of 60,000 orchid plants.

Spend your afternoon discovering the city for yourself. As a starting point, one of Singapore’s countless attractions is the Singapore flyer from which you can enjoy a bird’s eye view of the city and surrounding harbour. Head to Little India or Chinatown for an intriguing glimpse of tradition and history, discover handicrafts from Kashmir silk to peacock feathers and flower garlands, basket ware, leather products and jewellery.  Enjoy a legendary Singapore Sling at the Long Bar at the Raffles Hotel. Meander around the harbour or walk along the river from Clarke Quay to Boat Quay, a charming collection of traditional old houses which have been preserved and now house a host of local riverside restaurants.

    Day 3 Discover Singapore

There is plenty more to see beyond downtown. Hire a bike and cycle around Sentosa Island or even visit Singapore Zoo. You might ask – did I fly half way around the world to visit a Zoo? However trust us – this one is well worth a visit with a rare opportunity to breakfast with the Orang-utans or take a night safari to see unique nocturnal animals.

  • Day 4 Onward Journey

Head back to the airport for your onward journey. You can fly directly from Singapore to Phuket, Krabi, Langkawi, Kota Kinabali, Bali, Lombok, HanoiSaigon and Siem Reap – you may just have to talk to one of our team to help you decide where!

  • Take me there
