Sleep

Enjoying vistas of the exquisite golf course and the deep blue ocean are the Kauri Cliff Suites. Luxurious in every sense, each suite provides guests with a large, neutrally coloured bedroom and sitting area as well as walk-in wardrobes and a bathroom that has a refreshing, contemporary style. Even more luxurious than the suites is the spacious Owner’s Cottage. The Cottage is perfect for families as it offers the option of an additional third bedroom which could be ideal for children. Overlooking the impeccably-kept golf course and the dark waters of the Pacific, the outdoor living area, furnished with its own private infinity-edge swimming pool, hot tub and barbeque, is an ideal place to sit back and relax. The heart of the Cottage is the large lounge that opens out into the courtyard and the covered outdoor living space. With cultural artefacts brightening up the rooms and open feature fireplaces throughout, the Owner’s Cottage puts a traditional New Zealand twist on an otherwise very modern living space.

eat

Talented chefs create sensational dishes, placing Kauri Cliffs firmly on NZ's culinary map. The freshest ingredients, the majority of which are sourced locally, are used to produce gourmet cuisine - all accompanied by delicious wines from New Zealand and around the world.  Meals are served in the stylish main dining room or on the verandahs.  We highly recommend taking a delicoius picnic to a secluded beach or into the native forest for a lunch to remember!  In the evenings, gentlemen are required to where a jacket during cocktails and dinner (jackets are available to borrow).

play & pamper

In a truly idyllic setting, guests are invited to use the Kauri Cliffs Spa. With treatment rooms that open out onto private patios, guests can enjoy the soothing sights and sounds of forest and its wildlife. The spa promises to personalise its wide range of treatments to meet each individual’s desires and requirements to provide ultimate revitalisation to guests.

Other facilities at the resort include an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, tennis courts and a private beach barbeque site. Guests at Kauri Cliffs can partake in numerous activities that are offered on-site. Land-based fishing, mountain biking, clay pigeon shooting and hunting are amongst the long list of activities that guests can participate in during their stay at the resort.
