BEST TIME TO VISIT MALAYSIA

As with the rest of South-East Asia, the weather in Malaysia is best between the months of November to April. However, this should not deter visitors who are planning to travel between May to October, since showers are usually short and restricted to the afternoon or evening. In addition, this is the best time of year to visit the East Coast or Borneo, where the rainy season lasts from November to February.

MALAYSIA FLIGHT INFORMATION

Malaysia Airlines offer twice daily direct flights to Kuala Lumpur and British Airways fly direct to Kuala Lumper once a day. Alternatively fly with Emirates via Dubai in both directions. Onward flights to Langkawi and Kota Kinabalu and other regional airports are available with Malaysia Airlines. Total flight time to Kuala Lumpur is 12 hours 35 minutes on the direct service, or 16 hours and 25 minutes if using the indirect flight option.

MALAYSIA TRAVEL TIPS

Health Requirements - Typhoid, Polio, Tetanus, Hepatitis A are recommended.  Seek advice from your doctor regarding malaria medication.

Visa Requirements - A visa is not required for British passport holders staying up to 30 days. A passport validity of minimum six months is required at time of travel.
