WHEN TO GO TO THE INDIAN OCEAN

Indian Ocean benefits from a year-round sub-tropical climate – with just two seasons providing the minimal differences in temperature making holidays to the Indian Ocean fantastic all year. Our winters are hot in Mauritius and the occasional cyclone can herald strong winds and rain between January – March. Our summers are pleasantly warm. Seychelles is at its best between April – October. The Maldives benefits from beautiful weather during our winter, and summer, although in low season, is still an ideal time to visit. As Sri Lanka is a larger island, there is always one side of the island that benefits from good weather.
