Sea Change Villas

Tucked into a secluded cove of gleaming white sand, Sea Change is wonderfully romantic! With just twelve villas, the setting is decidedly peaceful and intimate. Children under 16 years are not permitted to stay at Sea Change Villas (except in the Lagoon View Executive Villas where children aged 12 years and over are welcome).

sleep

Each villa boasts a kingsize four-poster bed, a double head shower designed for two, a fully equipped designer kitchen and a state-of-the-art entertainment system. Each private courtyard reveals a freshwater private pool, so your only dilemma is which location to choose. The six Beachfront Villas command uninterrupted views of the lagoon and direct access onto the soft sands; Lagoon View Villas are set in gardens overflowing with paw paw and frangipani trees with tantalising glimpses of the lagoon from your deck… after all, it’s only 70 steps away (yes, we’ve counted them!) Perfect for families with older children, the Lagoon View Executive Villas boast 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms for up to six guests, a well-equipped games room, a private pool and stunning reef and ocean views.

eat

Upon arrival, you'll receive a breakfast starter pack consisting of bread, eggs, cereal, condiments, juice and milk - this is substantial enough to last a couple of days. Although this intimate retreat doesn’t house a restaurant or bar, there are plenty nearby – we love Saltwater Café, just a two minute stroll away. Another favourite not to be missed is The Moorings Cafe, located on the outskirts of Muri village - just a short drive away - and perched right down by the lagoon. Regulars flock here for the most delicious focaccia sandwiches filled with fresh-off-the-boat crumbed mahi mahi, washed down with wonderful fruit smoothies and coconut drinks. We're sure you'll return here time and again during your stay, but there are many more great restaurants to try, including Le Bon Vivant (LBV), Sails Restaurant & Bar, Vaima and Tamarind House - and because you’re in the laid-back, smiling Cook Islands, most will happily arrange transfers for their dinner guests.

play & pamper

Simply relax in the privacy of your villa, or while away the sunny hours on the beautiful beach. Feeling active? Explore the vivid underwater world of the lagoon or grab a kayak or bicycle for a little adventure.  Head inland for a guided tour through the island's pristine wilderness or try deep sea fishing at dawn and watch the sun rise over Rarotonga as you try to catch the big one! For those needing a little pampering, Sea Change will arrange for a mobile masseuse to visit your villa. Indulge in a traditional Rarotongan relaxation session consisting of either deep tissue, remedial or reflexology massage - all in the privacy and tranquility of your villa.

guana island
Guana Island, British Virgin Islands

Guana Island is a rainforested bolthole that offers the ultimate in tropical seclusion. It has seven (yes, seven!) pristine beaches and acres of island wilderness that you can explore and enjoy almost all to yourself, bar a few inquisitive rock iguanas and migratory birds. Bliss!
