On arrival you will be met and transferred to Sala Lodges, a collection of traditional Khmer wooden houses on stilts which have been collected from the Cambodian countryside and lovingly restored in the countryside just outside Siem Reap. A really unique and special place, Sala Lodges boasts contemporary bar, restaurant and swimming pool making it a perfect retreat and a true Turquoise favourite.

Stay: 1 night in a Lodge Suite at Sala Lodges, including breakfast

  • Siem Reap - Angkor Wat at sunrise

Day 2-4 Explore the Temples of Angkor Park

With over a thousand temples in various states of decay and covering an area of over one hundred square kilometres, discovering Angkor can be a daunting task. Our guides at Angkor have all undergone extensive training to become specialists in the fascinating history, architecture and culture of this amazing site with all tours planned carefully to avoid the crowds and takes in other less touristy sights.

Spend 3 days exploring the key temples including a full day visiting the lesser known Roluos Group and Kompong Phluk, a floating village on the Tonle Sap Lake and 2 half day tours exploring the jungle temples of Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom, the impressive Angkor Wat and charming Banteay Srei. (See our Siem Reap Stopover package for a more detailed description).

You’ll have plenty of time to cool off by the pool, indulge in the spa or explore the beautiful countryside surrounding Siem Reap. You can hire bicycles to explore independently or consider flying through the jungle by zipwire with our ‘Flight of the Gibbon tour’. One evening we’d highly recommend seeing the Phare Modern Circus – a real must do when visiting Siem Reap.

Stay: 4 nights in a Lodge Suite at Sala Lodges, including breakfast

  • Day 5-10 The Sarojin, Khao Lak, Thailand

Hop on a plane for the flight to Phuket, via Bangkok and before you know it you’ll be reclining your beachside sunbed, cool drink in hand planning how best to spend the next 6 days – lounging by the stunning Sarojin pool, lying on the beach, indulging in a 4 hand Faa Kart signature massage or for adventure seekers going trekking, rafting, rock climbing or learning Thai cookery.
