Hotel Healdsburg

The charming town of Healdsburg, less than two hours from San Francisco city, is a true hidden gem and the rising star of Sonoma County. The town itself is picture perfect with stylish bars, coffee shops and 12 Michelin star restaurants. Hotel Healdsburg sits just off the main square…a cool and calm oasis from which to explore the surrounding vineyards, national parks and dramatic coastline of Sonoma county.

SLEEP

In keeping with the lush countryside and vineyard vistas surrounding the town of Healdsburg, the hotels style is very natural, with hues of green and natural wood furniture throughout. Each room is slightly different from the next, all tastefully put together with neutral colours and linen upholstery…simple yet contemporary, sophisticated and instantly relaxing. All amenities and tasty treats from the mini bar are complimentary, just one of the personal touches we love. The suites provide an additional seating area and larger bathroom, perfect for families with young children needing a bit more space.

EAT

Sonoma as a county has been relatively ignored in comparison with neighbouring Napa, yet the wines are world class with a culinary offering to match. Hotel Healdsburg ‘s main restaurant, Dry Creek Kitchen, showcases a mouth-watering menu curated by Charlie Palmer and is extremely well regarded by locals as well as hotel guests. Within seconds of leaving the hotels front door you are greeted with endless dining options - from low-key café’s to Michelin star fine dining. Some of our favourites Kinsmoke for BBQ meat, Seopa for Italian and Bravus. For UK foodies, Healdsburg is also home to Heston Blumenthal’s Californian co-creation, Single Thread. Of course the main attraction of Sonoma itself is the wine and the hotel has affiliations with a number of the regions top vineyards for free tastings and vineyard tours.

PLAY & PAMPER

At the end of a busy day tasting the regions finest grapes, a few hours relaxing in the Hotel Healdsburg pool and spa area is the perfect tonic to recharge the batteries before your evening meal. If time permits, spend a morning or afternoon in Healdsburg itself. Hop on one of the hotels complimentary bikes, get a coffee to go from the Flying Goat café and enjoy the gorgeous array of shops and galleries around the main square.
