We had an excellent break at The Residence in Mauritius. Excellent staff and service, very good rooms and enjoyable ambiance. Nicest people that we have met and a very lovely climate too. Only quibble was the nightly buffets in one or other of their two restaurants, which reduced choice. We avoided these, except when The Plantation was closed for a private function and then it was a buffet or nothing!! I should add that service from Turquoise (Stuart Matthews) was top notch. Our honeymoon to the Pimalai in Koh Lanta, Thailand was amazing! The hotel and all the staff were fantastic and we would both love to go back. Thank you to everyone at Turquoise for all your help, advice and professionalism!
