We were worried about flying EVA air. They were superb. Not so impressed with the Metropolitan Hotel in Bangkok. It was clean and functional but in our opinion lacked atmosphere. The Pimalai was wonderful in Koh Lanta. We will be back next year.

We have just returned from our honeymoon in the Maldives and it really was fantastic. Turquoise were brilliant from beginning to end - Karen and colleagues researched our island even though it was not one on their list, got the best price and ensured our villa was in the perfect spot. They followed through with their promises and we were thrilled with the service. We usually do our own independent holidays but wanted this one to be hassle-free and it was thanks to Turquoise. Even afterwards, Karen and colleagues are doing all they can to support us with airline problems we experienced, despite being no fault of their own. We would highly recommend Turquoise and the gift list was an amazing idea which worked really well too. Thank you so much!

Hi Karen, We had a great and most relaxing holiday and very much enjoyed the Tanjong Jara Resort and Malaysia. It certainly lived up to its 5 star rating. The service and friendliness of the staff were outstanding. Food was excellent as also were the Spa treatments. The Nelayan restaurant was a highlight for us as we had some lovely Malaysian lunches there close to the beach out of the hot midday sun, chatting to the staff. The full board and spa package were a big plus at this hotel as it is fairly isolated and there did not seem to be many local, nearby restaurants.
We enjoyed some interesting trips, cycling to a local fisherman's village, a river trip to see an agricultural village (enjoyable but we could have done with visiting a few more places), a trip to the night market, a morning outing with the chef to the veg/fish market and afterwards to her house and we also found a few little local villages ourselves. The local villages were very interesting and the people very nice. We also felt extremely safe.
Room was great, spacious, traditional, perfectly serviced, very clean.
As a result of you informing the hotel of our 60th anniversary celebration we were given some special treats:- dinner on the beach, rose petal baths in our room, one day we participated in the daily ritual of the local villagers dressed in their costumes playing their drums etc walking through the resort carrying out a traditional water ceromony, we had a room up-grade (note there is not a lot of difference between the basic room and the next one up-probably would not have been worth paying for!).
Overall an outstanding holiday with the friendliness of the people/staff one of the the most memorable features; all travel arrangements etc went well. Thanks for all your help. Where should we go next?!!
