The Park Hyatt is Saigon’s newest and most opulent luxury hotel. Benefiting from possibly the best location in the entire city, the hotel is surrounded by many excellent shopping and dining options. The historic street of Le Loi is just opposite and the hotel itself faces Saigon’s iconic Opera House. Although newly built, this grand building is very much in keeping with the French colonial architecture which is characteristic of Saigon itself. The hotel is large, with 259 rooms which are all colonial in style, with wooden floors, antique style furniture and understated cream furnishings. Whilst Park Rooms are generous in size and facilities, upgrading to a Park Deluxe Room gives the added luxury of a private terrace with direct pool access. Room amenities fulfill expectations of a property of this calibre and include flat screen televisions, high speed internet access and tea/coffee making facilities. The Xuan Spa is an excellent way to unwind after a day’s exploration of Saigon. The hotel also has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and a state-of-the-art fitness room. There is also a beauty salon which offers haircare, manicures and pedicures for a well deserved pampering. Dining is a real highlight at this magnificent hotel. The Park Hyatt boasts a selection of restaurants including Saigon’s best Italian restaurant, the chic Restaurant Opera and Square One which is the hotel’s wonderful Vietnamese restaurant. There is live jazz in the Park Lounge, where guests can enjoy afternoon tea. The hotel can even organise a gourmet cooking class.
