The Islands of Siankaba

Located 24 miles upstream from Victoria Falls and just 30 miles from the magnificent Chobe National Park, these two densely forested sand islands in the Zambezi River are home to seven uniquely designed chalets. Constructed from teak and custom-made canvas, each tent is raised on wooden decks and linked by a series of overhead tree canopy walkways. Each has a balcony which extends over the river – and a footbridge leads to the main bar and restaurant, acclaimed for its 'haute cuisine in the bush'.

Activities available include guided birding and tree walks, guided fishing trips for the elusive Zambezi Tiger, sunset river cruises and dugout canoe trips around the islands. A variety of expeditions can also be arranged such as trips to Victoria Falls, elephant-back safaris, white-water rafting, micro-lighting, helicopter flights, game drives and jet-boating.
