Guests have a consultation with a naturopath, a homeopath or on Traditional Chinese Medicine. Kamalaya offers detox packages or guests can simply come and relax for a few days or longer. There are also plenty of activities to choose from including yoga, pilates, meditation, Chi Gong and Tai Chi. There is a fully equipped gym and a swimming pool and the Kamalaya is situated on a small but picturesque stretch of beach. In terms of cuisine, everything that Kamalaya serves is healthy and fresh yet satisfying even if you are not following a detox programme. The restaurant, cafe and bar/tea lounge all offer a wide range of fresh food, fresh juices, herbal teas and wines. Kamalaya is set out on a hill in the secluded north of Koh Samui. The area is very peaceful and the resort has been built to complement the natural surroundings. At the heart of the resort is a monk's cave which was used for mediation and prayer and there are a series of rock plunge pools built in and around the resort for relaxation. Accommodation comes in the form of rooms, suites and villas and there is even one beach pool villa for those wishing to reallly splash out.
