One of Thailand's newest hideaways, the Haadson lies in a quiet and secluded part of Khao Lak. With only 39 rooms, the atmosphere here is intimate and peaceful. The resort is situated on the beach and has its own island, which forms a key part of the grounds. Haadson has 19 stand-alone villas which are situated on the island itself. There are also 20 rooms which are spread amongst the grounds in five different villas – two rooms are upstairs and two rooms are downstairs. All rooms have their own private balcony and all are decorated in a clean and modern Thai style. The stand-alone villas even have a semi-outdoor bathroom with large bathtub and shower, as well as a day bed. All rooms have air-conditioning, television, minibar and hairdryer. Dining options include a bar for sunset cocktails or coffee, a pool bar and an open sided restaurant overlooking Bangsak Beach. The restaurant serves delicious Thai and international cuisine. There are also three open air massage pavilions adjacent to the swimming pool, where therapists can provide relaxing Thai massages. Designed as a modern Thai style retreat which fulfils the standards of contemporary holiday destinations, the Haadson Resort uses thatched roofs and natural textiles to create a relaxed and unobtrusive feel. It is ideal for those seeking simplicity combined with comfort.
