Although not located on the beach itself, the AKA is one of the finer examples of the villa concept in Thailand today. Whilst the resort offers hourly shuttles to the beach, most of the guests who come to this beautiful hideaway are unlikely to leave the privacy of their villa. Entering through a walled gateway to a private garden, each of the 54 villas contains a bedroom, outdoor sala, day bed and sunken outdoor bathtub.
