Prices for 3 nights from £795 per person twin share including all meals, game activities, local beverages and nature walks at Rock or Vlei Lodge.
South African Airways and British Airways have daily flights to Johannesburg and Cape Town. Fares start at £660 including all taxes and surcharges: however both airlines do have special offers available throughout the year so it it worth checking with one of our Sales Consultants.

Phinda is CCAfrica’s flagship operation and wholly embodies the company’s philosophy of conserving the people, its land and the animals.

Located between the warm azure waters of the Indian Ocean and the lush waterways of the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, Phinda spans 17,000 hectares and seven unique ecosystems. The reserve boasts the world's largest privately owned population of Nyala and over 380 species of birds.

Four distinct lodges make up the accommodation. The most exclusive of these, with just six suites each, are Rock Lodge (pictures 1 & 2) in the Lebombo Mountains and Vlei Lodge (picture 3), with its stunning glass-fronted chalets overlooking a wetland. Mountain Lodge (picture 4)is the oldest of the four - and is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and spectacular views, whilst the Zen-like ambience at Forest Lodge (picture 5) makes you feel at home amongst the trees.

Experienced game rangers undergo a rigorous three-month programme at Phinda's Ranger Training School before serving an apprenticeship alongside an experienced guide. The reserve’s close proximity to the Indian Ocean also offers a unique opportunity to see elephant, turtles, cheetah, whale sharks, rhino and dolphins all in one day. The highly recommended and magnificent ‘Flight of the Fish Eagle’ air safari is an aweinspiring journey over Maputoland’s freshwater lakes, forested coastal dunes and clear blue waters which rival Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Breakfast or evening sundowners are served on the river boat as it drifts past pods of hippo or those with a sense of adventure can experience the thrill of tracking white rhino on foot accompanied by an armed tracker. An exhilarating 4 day walking safari, which offers an incredible insight into this pristine wilderness, is also available (extra cost).
