Tintswalo in the Shangaan language describes the intangible feeling of warmth, love and gratitude which you feel upon accepting a beautiful gift. Situated within the greater Kruger National Park, the Manyeleti Reserve is known for its proliferation of game. The eastern boundary adjoins the Kruger National Park, whilst the north is bordered by the Timbavati and the south by the Sabi Sand reserve – and with no fences between these reserves, a huge variety of wildlife roams free! Positioned along the banks of a seasonal river, Tintswalo accommodates 16 guests in seven intimate and private suites overlooking a waterhole. Decorated to recall the pioneering times of the early explorers, Tintswalo personifies romantic elegance, complete with thatched roofs and mosquito-net swathed beds. Spacious air-conditioned rooms, with indulgent indoor and outdoor showers, spill out onto private wooden decks, each with a romantic plunge pool. The secluded 'Baker’ suite, adorned with opulent fabrics and a four-poster bed, is the perfect honeymoon hideaway, whilst the 2-bedroom 'Baines' suite comes with your very own chef!

For a small group or family seeking a more intimate experience, the 3-bedroom Manor House offers seclusion and privacy with the support of a chef, private guide and house staff.

Set amongst an ancient grove of sycamore fig trees, the exquisitely appointed main lodge blends into the surrounding bush and is connected to the suites by raised boardwalks. In the library, dining area and luxurious lounge, African passion and colonial grace complement the striking interiors of rich colours, textures and forms.

Tintswalo also houses the sublimely indulgent Elan Vitál spa. Overlooking a waterhole, you can view the spectacle of passing game whilst a professional therapist pampers and soothes your mind, body and soul!
