Seychelles island hopping.
Day 1 Praslin (Saturday) Arrive in Mahé on Saturday morning (following your Friday night departure from the UK) and connect with your short flight to Praslin where you will enjoy a 6 night stay at the charming Hotel L’Archipel. Days 2 - 6 Praslin Wake up to the fabulous views of the ocean from your verandah. Like Mahé, Praslin is a granite island, with a ridge of mountains running eastwest along the centre. The landscape is lush and tropical and the mood slow and easy. Within easy access by complimentary boat taxi is Anse Lazio - undoubtedly the best beach on Praslin (and arguably one of the best in Seychelles). Another ‘must-see’ is the World Heritage listed Valleé de Mai where the famous coco-de-mer palm trees grow. L’Archipel also offers boat trips to the offshore tiny islet of St Pierre for great snorkelling - and a day excursion to the neighbouring island of La Digue is highly recommended. (B) Days 7 - 12 Denis Island Return to Mahé to connect with your onward flight to Denis Island (just 30 minutes north of Mahé) for 6 nights in a delightful thatched cottage, close to the beachfront. Unlike the granitic islands of Mahé and Praslin, Denis is a stunning coral cay carpeted with verdant forest. Do nothing but relax and adjust to Denis’ barefoot island lifestyle. (B,L,D) Day 13 Mahé (Thursday) Return to Mahé to connect with your overnight international flight back to the UK. (B)
