But if you'd prefer, you are just as welcome to sit back, relax and enjoy the action and harbour views – this is undoubtedly one of the best introductions to the ‘City of Sails’! The two yachts are suitable for everyone (10 years and above) - from experienced racers to apprehensive first-time sailors. The skipper and crew are keen racing yachties - and will ensure you get the most from your two hour sail. You will meet the crew down at the Viaduct Harbour, and after a short safety briefing, will head out on to the waters of the harbour. For those with a competitive streak, match racing aboard the yachts is also an option. The 3 hour 'match race' experience begins with the two yachts lined up under international match racing pre-start conditions (just like in the America's Cup) -before setting off to compete head to head. As a passenger, you will be involved in the racing, calling tactics - and even protesting the offending yacht! The experience includes a free entry in to the Voyager Maritime Museum.
