A wonderful 24 mile walk from Christchurch to Akaroa
This wonderful 24 mile walk begins with a gondola ride from the edge of Christchurch to the Summit Ridge in the Port Hills. From here, you will spend the next 3 days hiking across the beautiful Banks Peninsula to the historic French settlement of Akaroa, where this unique journey comes to an end. Comfortable Bed and Breakfast accommodation is provided enroute – and a celebratory dinner at an Akaroa restaurant is included on the final evening. Departure Details: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
