Accessible via a scenic 30 minute light aircraft flight across the Hauraki Gulf from Auckland, Great Barrier Island is one of New Zealand’s best kept secrets. The three suites are connected to the main lodge via a cobbled pathway – and each boasts French doors which open onto a private verandah with panoramic views of the beaches and the Earthsong olive grove.

After a day of exploring, you can look forward to wonderful food and wine. Trevor is a fabulous chef and delights in preparing gourmet meals using New Zealand’s finest organic and seasonal produce –accompanied by fine wines from the wine cellar.

Guided walks, 4WD hire, fishing trips, horse-riding – and even a relaxing massage – can all easily be arranged.
