A welcome addition to Taupo’s accommodation scene, this cosy retreat offers just four bedrooms, views of Lake Taupo and delightful hosts. All rooms, which open onto their own balcony or patio, boast fabulous Swiss beds and three have either a hydrotherapy spa bath or romantic claw-foot bath (whilst the fourth has a large walk-in shower). Hosts Emil and Hea-Min provide delicious breakfasts which often include their own freshly-baked bread – and dinners are available by request. Chalet Eiger is a 10 minute drive from the centre of Taupo.
