Brunswick is a fully serviced private three bedroom apartment with spectacular views of the lake, mountains and high country farms around Queenstown. It forms part of an exclusive residential group of four ‘architecturally award-winning’ privately owned apartments, which offer a sanctuary of tranquillity and seclusion (and a relaxing spa house), just a few minutes walk from Queenstown’s myriad of shops, restaurants, cafés and wine bars.

The spacious living area boasts an understated informal elegance - a retreat where you can unwind in front of a roaring log fire and talk over the day’s activities. Antique country furniture and interior wood shutters are complemented by warm colours which echo the famous Central Otago autumn. Hand hewn Glenorchy schist flagstones and rugs cover the floors. The art work and reading material have been carefully collected to reflect the local history and ambience.

Each of the three bedrooms (which have views of the lake and mountains) has a bathroom - two bedrooms have large double beds whilst the third features a set of bunks and a single bed. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area open onto a terrace where you can enjoy candle-lit dinner parties with friends. The barbecue is the perfect option for clear summer’s evenings - but for those who’d prefer not to self-cater, a private chef can also be arranged. Brunswick’s balcony is a great vantage point for watching the famous steamer TTS Earnslaw (pictured), as it heads off on its daily excursions across the lake, or you can simply spend lazy evenings on the balcony with a glass of local wine admiring the sunset as it casts a warm glow over the water.

Queenstown’s dramatic lakeside setting with the spectacular Remarkables Range as a stunning backdrop, never fails to take the breath away from even the most seasoned of travellers. It is one of the world’s finest adventure and ecotourism destinations - but you may, of course, prefer to enjoy a relaxing vineyard lunch at one of the region’s boutique wineries - Gibbston Valley and Waitiri Creek are amongst the best. If you’re looking for a unique evening out - you won’t do better than historic Arrowtown where we recommend an avant-garde film at the newly opened ‘Dorothy Browns’ boutique theatre followed by dinner at the acclaimed Saffron Restaurant - bookings are essential!
