Secluded in native bushland, overlooking Waiheke’s Hekerua Bay, this contemporary two double-bedroomed hideaway is just a short walk down through the trees to the bay’s pebble beach. Architecturally designed, with large feature windows, this delightful ‘home away from home’ offers ample living space for two couples or a family of four (one of the double beds splits into two singles). Lazy days can be spent relaxing on the unique bridge deck in the treetops - whilst another larger deck is ideal for barbecues or soaking up the peace and solitude. The furniture in this fully self-contained retreat was commissioned by a well-known New Zealand designer - you will enjoy cotton bed linen, pure wool blankets and a plentiful supply of beach towels. Fresh flowers complete the holiday ambience! Your hosts, Jane and Stephen (who live on the same plot), own and run Waiheke’s only boutique ‘Coffee Roasting Company’ - so freshly ground coffee is all part of the experience! Jane will also supply you with other basic provisions such as tea, milk, cereal and bottled water. If you would like shopping done in advance, then Jane will happily do this. The cafés and shops of Oneroa are only a few minutes drive away.
