Nestled amongst the Chardonnay vines of Hawke’s Bay’s family-owned Craggy Range Winery, the boutique Cellar Master’s Cottage offers two double ensuite bedrooms (one of which can be made into a twin). A ‘modern take’ on a traditional cottage, the light and compact interior of Cellar Master's ensures that two couples will enjoy a comfortable and contemporary stay. Craggy Range is one of the region’s state-of-the-art newly opened wineries renowned for its production of expressive Single Vineyard wines. The winery offers a cellar door, a Visitors Centre, two specialist wine making cellars with tours and tastings available - and the fabulous ‘Terrôir’ Restaurant (open daily for lunch and dinner) which specialises in rotisserie and wood-fired oven cooking. Located in the village of Havelock North, Craggy Range sits at the base of Te Mata Peak, Hawke’s Bay’s ‘Sleeping Giant’ which stands 399 metres above sea level. Cellar Master’s Cottage enjoys far reaching viewsacross the Tuki Tuki River Valley to the towering peak of Te Mata. The cottage has basic kitchen facilities, ideal for preparing platters to enjoy on the outdoor terrace but if you’d prefer to dine out, ‘Terrôir’ boasts a rustic atmosphere in which you will enjoy the very best of New Zealand’s provincial cuisine. Your stay at Cellar Master’s includes daily breakfast provisions with sumptuous bread from the restaurant.
