The finest walk in the world!
With an enviable reputation as ‘the finest walk in the world’, the Milford Track is one of New Zealand’s most popular hikes. It stretches for approximately 33 miles through the World Heritage listed Fiordland National Park and links the head of Lake Te Anau with world famous Milford Sound. The Track is renowned for its glacially-carved valleys, alpine flowers and waterfalls (you will trek to the world’s fifth highest waterfall – the magnificent Sutherland Falls). The Track is open from November to mid-April and is available as a 5 day guided walk experience from Queenstown. Accommodation is provided in both bunk-style lodge rooms (with 4 - 6 people sharing) or private double and twin ensuite rooms. Departure Details: Daily departures in season (early November to mid April). Pre-Walk Briefing: 4pm in Queenstown the day prior to departure.
