Rebak Island Resort - a Taj Hotel

Rebak Island Resort - a Taj hotel - is the first Malaysian property from the renowned Indian hotel chain.  Situated on a small island just off the coast of Langkawi, the Taj is a secluded and peaceful retreat.

Also home to the Rebak Marina, the 390 acre island itself is picturesque, with many boats moored at the marina and an idyllic white sand beach.  Aside from the resort, the island boasts some ancient rainforest and stunning rock formations, ideal for some gentle hikes and exploration.  Just a 15 minute ride from the Port Langkasuka jetty, guests at the resort also have easy access to activities and day trips on Langkawi itself as the resort offers a complimentary regular ferry service between Rebak and Langkawi.

The rooms themselves are located in Malay style timber clusters.  They are contemporary in design yet furnished wiht tasteful Malay artefacts.  In room facilities include tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar and LCD television.  Some of the rooms have sea views to add to the experience.

The resort boasts a beautiful swimming pool, open-air massage area, library with internet connection and a small gym.  The resort can organise beach volleyball, Malay cooking demonstrations, mountain biking or table tennis on request.

There are two main restaurants as well as the stylish Minum Minum Bar where guests can sip cocktails.  The food is excellent with freshly prepared seafood and a wide range of both Malay and international cuisines.  All guests are sure to receive a warm welcome from this relaxed and friendly resort.
