A beautiful resort set on a large hill and overlooking a neighbouring golf course, the Cameron Highlands Resort has excellent views and luxurious accommodation. Built in the style of a traditional English colonial hill retreat, the resort has a natural elegance, which aims to combine English manners with Asian hospitality. The refined two storey building contains 56 rooms, all decorated in a colonial style with polished timber floors, four poster beds, beamed ceilings, plantation shutters, seating area and balcony. Rooms also include modern amenities such as flatscreen television, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers. Dining options also hark back to colonial days and include The Dining Room, the Jim Thompson Tea Room where afternoon tea is served and the Highlands Bar. For those with more modern tastes, the stylish Japanese restaurant is a great option. The resort boasts a Spa Village, whose signature treatment makes use of the healing properties of locally grown tea. There is also a fitness room although there is no swimming pool.
