Settha Palace

The original destination hotel of choice for the sleepy Lao capital, the Settha Palace combines history with colonial elegance and comfort.

Built in 1932, the Settha Palace is the epitome of French colonial era charm and hospitality. Re-opened in 1999 and fully restored to its former glory, the hotel has only 22 rooms and 3 suites, ensuring an intimate feel.

Rooms are decorated in a very classical style with high ceilings, wooden floorboards and rosewood four poster beds. Marble bathrooms with bathtub and separate shower complete the elegant look. Modern conveniences such as satellite television, air-conditioning and wireless internet access have been added, to ensure guests can enjoy modern comfort in their colonial surroundings.

The hotel’s Belle Epoque restaurant features some of Vientiane’s finest French food and there is also a café, a poolside bar and a lounge bar.
