Set on a rocky promontory overlooking the sweeping Isupukiai River, this small eco-conscious and exclusive tented camp enjoys spectacular far-reaching views amidst beautiful wilderness teeming with game. It is located in Eastern Koiyaki, a short distance north of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The camp boasts six stylish and uniquely designed ‘round’ tents which take full advantage of the stunning surrounding panorama from their elevated setting on wooden platforms. They are nestled amongst Cordia and Acacia trees which attract an abundance of wildlife and birds. The interiors are refined and somewhat minimalist with extensive living space. Each has a double and a single bed, an en-suite shower, flush toilet and thoughtfully placed electric lighting. In additoin, Ol Seki has two exclusive suites - perfect for families or friends travelling together. Each comprises two ensuite bedrooms inter-joined by a living and dining area with an expansive outside deck boasting stunning views. Guests in the suites benefit from their own private staff who will cater to their every need. The elegant dining and mess tents enjoy equally glorious views – and there is also a library tent for quiet reflection. Romantic candlelit dinners and a resident spa therapist add to the intimate appeal (guests can enjoy a variety of pampering treatments in the privacy of their tent). Game is plentiful – and Ol Seki’s guides are all sourced from the neighboring Koiyaki Guiding School which the camp supports – one of the principle aims being to train local Maasai in the art of guiding to international standards. You can also enjoy bush picnics and sundowners, visit a local village or listen to tales from a local Ndorobo about his hunter-gathering days, told from his former cave dwelling below the camp. Ol Seki is accessible via a scheduled or charter flight from Nairobi to the local Siana airstrip.
