A wonderful new addition to New Zealand’s array of guided walks, this unique and diverse journey passes through primeval native forest, dramatic alpine terrain and sparkling streams and riverbeds –within a private nature reserve. Just 101/2 miles in total (and available as either a 2 or 3 day option with a maximum group size of 12), this walk can be enjoyed at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to admire the breathtaking scenery – you will walk for between 5 - 7 hours each day. Comfortable accommodation is provided at Shearwater Lodge, which is set in a spectacular alpine valley and boasts six super-king (or twin) ensuite guest rooms with private balconies and magnificent views. Departure Details: 2 day walk - Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. 3 day walk - Thursdays and Saturdays.
