Learn how to make the best of Bali's delicious dishes
Learn how to create some of Bali’s most famous dishes with this fun and informal cookery class. The school here is run by Heinz von Holzen, a Swiss chef who is one of the island’s foremost experts on Balinese cuisine as well as being the author of cookery books such as Bali Unveiled and Feast of Flavours. Rising early in the morning, you will visit a local fruit and vegetable market in Jimbaran as well as a lively fish market before heading to the kitchens. You will spend the morning cooking Balinese and Indonesian classic dishes such as satay, duck in banana leaf, chicken in spiced coconut milk as well as the famous black rice pudding. Feast on your creations for lunch before returning to your hotel this afternoon with a full stomach and a happy heart!
