Mr Pheach's Temples

With over ten years’ experience in Angkor touring, Mr Pheach is one of Siem Reap’s most knowledgeable and most friendly guides. A native to Siem Reap province, Mr Pheach grew up around the mythology of the Angkor temples and has studied the temples and their history in depth with UNESCO. His favourite temple is the jungle temple of Ta Prohm, where giant trees grow out of the ruined temples. Mr Pheach finds it very interesting that the Cambodian government decided to keep this temple as it was, rather than removing the  trees and restoring the architecture and he loves to contemplate the contrast between humanity and nature that this temple represents.
