Combine the charm of Indochina with the region's best accommodadtion

Days 1 - 4  Luang Prabang & Vientiane

On arrival in Luang Prabang, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Over the next two days, you will be able to explore Luang Prabang’s temples and museums. Take a boat trip out to the Pak Ou caves, filled with Buddha images of all shapes and sizes. Fly to Vientiane, where you will visit That Luang stupa, as well as the bustling Talaat Sao, or morning market.

Days 5 - 8  Hanoi & Halong Bay

Fly from Vientiane to Hanoi, where you will spend two nights in the busy Vietnamese capital city. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, the Temple of Literature or enjoy some shopping in the boutiques of the Old Quarter. Travel to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise on this stunningly beautiful bay. Enjoy wonderful scenery, some delicious fresh seafood and swimming.

Day 9  Hue

Visit this historical city, rich in imperial myth and legend. Explore the seven tiered Thien Mu pagoda and the Imperial Citadel. Contrast the tranquil elegance of Tu Duc’s tomb and gardens with the dramatic starkness of Khai Dinh’s more modern tomb.

Days 10 - 12  Hoi An

Relax and enjoy the jewel of Vietnam. This colourful former trading port has been a draw for merchants from North Asia since the sixteenth century. Pay a visit to one of the many tailors for some made to measure clothes, or shop for antiques and ceramics in the heart of Old Hoi An. Visit old Chinese temples, wooden merchant houses and the Japanese covered bridge, all of which give Hoi An its character.

Day 13  Saigon

Take an early morning flight to Saigon and spend the afternoon exploring the Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral, the old Post Office and the vibrant Chinatown. Have dinner in one of Saigon’s fashionable spots and enjoy a rooftop cocktail in this lively city.

Day 14 - 15  Mekong Delta to Siem Reap

Leaving this morning, drive towards the Mekong Delta town of Can Tho. En route, you will board a boat and visit some of the islands in this region. Rise early the following morning for a sunrise breakfast cruise and floating market visit. Returning to Saigon this afternoon, you will head straight to the airport, where you will fly directly to Siem Reap in Cambodia.

Day 16 - 17  The Temples of Angkor

Today you will begin your exploration of the majestic Angkor complex. Must-see temples include Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom and the Bayon, however it is Angkor Wat itself which is the complex’s most impressive temple.
