Villa Corallina

Tucked away on a small, dreamy islet, surrounded by the warm turquoise waters of Moorea's lagoon, Villa Corallina is a unique self-contained property which accommodates just one group of up to 6 people at any one time.

The property actually comprises a main villa with one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room and beach barbecue facilities and a second villa with the master bedroom and bathroom. A separate Garden Cottage located 100 metres from the beach can accommodate an additional couple. Bamboo and rattan furniture give the accommodation a charmingly rustic appeal, and the mother-of-pearl and coral ornaments are inspired by the ocean.

It is the perfect retreat for those in search of peace and serenity, who are happy to self-cater on a private islet without resort facilities. The charming hosts, who live in a neighbouring villa, offer a friendly and personalised service (fresh towels are provided and sheets are changed once a week unless otherwise requested) – but your privacy is assured. They will welcome you on arrival and once settled in, they will escort you back to the main island (which takes 5 minutes) so that you can stock up on provisions.

There are some shops just a few minutes walk from the boat landing (back on the main island) and also close by is Fare Vaimoana, a small bungalow style hotel with an excellent restaurant – and the hosts use this as a main island base. An outrigger canoe is provided for your use and a daily complimentary transfer to the mainland is included in your stay.

International flights and the inter-island airpass are additional. Children under 12 years are not catered for.
