Individually decorated with a touch of rural charm, each of the five romantic suites spills out on to a large verandah with a private plunge pool overlooking the Sauvignon Blanc vineyards. Set on a natural outcrop, the secluded Vista Suite boasts an ensuite with four-claw bath and a beautifully appointed lounge with open fire – and this French regal influence also overflows into the intimate Deluxe Suite with its hand-carved four-poster bed!

The property is perfectly located for exploring the local wine farms on horseback or by mountain bike – and at dusk, a ‘must’ is a gentle stroll to ensure that you take in one of the glorious sunsets. La Petite Ferme’s Winery is one of the smallest in the Cape and we highly recommend a cellar tour to sample some of the estate’s delicately hand-crafted wines.
