Rumours of Romance

Occupying a prime location on the dazzling white sands of Muri Beach, Rumours (which opened in October 2005) has lifted Rarotonga’s ‘luxury levels’ to new heights! Five lavish villas boast magnificent lagoon views and expansive decks leading straight onto the glorious white sandy beach. Each villa has two bedrooms with hand-carved super-king four poster beds and indulgent bathrooms with Italian fittings and unique glass-brick showers. Beautiful water features filled with fresh flowers flow around the edge of the living area –enhancing the feeling of romance – not to mention the ‘canopied’ day bed which provides the perfect relaxing sanctuary at any time of day!

Naturally – each villa has its own private pool, beautifully set amidst tropical gardens, complete with flowing waterfall and stream. Three of the villas enjoy an absolute beachfront setting – and these also benefit from the added bonus of a heated spa pool as well as the swimming pool. The other two are literally just steps from the beach.

LCD TV’s with surround sound are all part of the Rumours ‘in-villa experience’ – and the Ultimate Honeymoon Villa even has its own dedicated movie theatre complete with 2.5 metre screen, full theatre projector and sound system! The fully equipped kitchens ensure you have everything you need to create your very own romantic meal (should you so wish) – but of course, Champagne brunches and delicious treats can easily be prepared for you. Kayaks and snorkelling equipment are provided for your use.

International flights are additional. Children under 18 years are not catered for and a 3 night minimum stay applies.
