Takitumu’s accommodation is provided in ten simple yet comfortable Polynesian villas, each of which is air-conditioned with a relaxing living area, separate bedroom, ensuite with spa bath, kitchen and private sundeck.

As their name suggests, the Beachfront Villas are just steps away from the beach, whilst the Lagoon View Villas are set back about 20 metres from the sand amidst an array of picturesque lily ponds. Two of the Beachfront Villas (known as VIP Villas) enjoy that little extra privacy in the secluded corners of the property.

The warmth of the staff and the enviable location are what draw visitors back to Royale Takitumu time and time again. The Titikaveka Lagoon is a snorkellers paradise. It is located next to a marine reserve and is teeming with tropical fish – and there is a dive centre nearby. Yet – snorkelling and diving aside, the emphasis here is on rest and relaxation!

A private chef can easily be arranged for your own intimate dinner in the evening – and poolside barbecues and Champagne parties on the beach at sunset are regular occurrences. Rarotonga's many cafés and restaurants are not far away –some are within walking distance, and Royale Takitumu will gladly transfer you to others.
