Superbly located on Hong Kong Island overlooking the glittering skyline of Victoria Harbour, this distinguished hotel has been welcoming visitors to Hong Kong since 1963. A much loved icon with a glamorous history, Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong enjoys a legendary reputation as one of the world’s finest hotels – and indeed, it is the flagship property for this award-winning and prestigious hotel group. An integral part of the heritage of this vibrant city, the hotel has become a byword for impeccable service, elegance and distinctive style.

The 501 guest rooms and suites are beautifully furnished and decorated with exquisite materials and handcrafted finishes. All boast the very latest in modern technology including iPod docking stations, wi-fi high speed internet access, DVD players, intelligent lighting systems and flatscreen televisions in both the bedroom and bathroom – and this sophisticated interactive entertainment system comes with the full support of an ‘IT butler’!

The ten restaurants and bars (created by epicurean masters from around the world) include the Michelin-starred Pierre restaurant, the long renowned Mandarin Grill & Bar (known as ‘Hong Kong’s favourite dining room), the hip M Bar (the buzzing epicentre of Hong Kong nightlife) and the infamous Clipper Lounge – a popular meeting place, fondly referred to as ‘Hong Kong’s sitting room’ – where afternoon tea is a Hong Kong institution.

Honouring the hotel’s Chinese heritage and original design, the all-encompassing Mandarin Spa (which is spread over three floors) offers holistic rejuvenation and relaxation through its array of treatments – and there is also a fitness centre and indoor swimming pool.
