The Davis

One of Bangkok’s original and most colourful boutique hotels, the Davis is located in Soi 24, off fashionable Sukhumvit Road. Around five to ten minutes walk from the skytrain station, Phrom Pong and near the excellent Emporium shopping mall, the area is filled with restaurants and shops.

The 247 rooms come in a variety of different sizes and décor, but all have a unique and interesting character. There are even 32 Design rooms, all decorated with their own theme. Some of the themes include Sukhothai, Thai, Chinese, Japanese and even Mississippi style rooms. Silk fabrics, antiques and artwork all help to create an intimate ambience. Room amenities include internet access, satellite television, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a separate wing, Baan Davis, which features individual Thai style Villas, with either two or three bedrooms.

The main hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing area and pool bar, a spa with traditional Thai massage and other treatments, as well as a fitness room. There are two cafés, one serving international and one serving Thai cuisine. The lobby bar serves cocktails and Club 88 is a live jazz venue, popular with local Thai people, expats as well as hotel guests.

This is a truly colourful and vibrant property, with a buzz atmosphere and a lively location.
