Located between Bora Bora and Huahine in the Society Islands, the island of Taha'a shares a lagoon with its sister, Raiatea, and a smattering of idyllic, smaller islets or motus.

Known as the Vanilla Island, Taha'a is an undiscovered jewel - offering a more old-fashioned Polynesian lifestyle. The sweet aroma of vanilla pervades Taha'a's mountains and villages and the island is also dotted with pearl farms.

Known as the Sacred Island, Raiatea - the largest of the Leeward group of Society Islands - shares a lagoon with Taha'a. Raiatea holds a wealth of fascinating history and is well worth exploring.
