Lémuria Resort

Nestled in glorious seclusion in the north-west corner of Praslin, Lémuria is perfect for those in search of five star luxury. Stylish and elegant, it is one of the largest resorts in the Seychelles, renowned for its extensive facilities and high standards of service.

The location is breathtaking – Lémuria is set on a hillside overlooking the beautiful white sands of three secluded coves – Grand Anse Kerlan (where turtles still lay their eggs), Petit Anse Kerlan and Anse Georgette. Sheltered from prevailing winds, and washed by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, the resort has been built in complete empathy with its natural surroundings and enjoys an ambience of refined sophistication.

Accommodation is provided in 88 Junior Suites, 8 Senior Suites and 9 Villas – all of which are sea-facing. Designed in chic minimalist style with an emphasis on intimacy and privacy, each suite has a terrace plus hammocks and sun lounge chairs set in the shade of overhanging palm trees –all within 15 metres of the shoreline. Some of the Junior Suites can be interconnecting (ideal for families with children) – whilst the 8 Senior Suites offer the additional space of a separate living area and a double size terrace.

For the ultimate indulgence, the stunning two-bedroom Villas each boast their own small private pool – as well as the personal services of a ‘villa master’. They look directly onto Grand Anse Kerlan beach and discreetly nestle amongst the vegetation and granite boulders, away from the resort.

Lémuria’s vast grounds incorporate a spectacular 18 hole championship golf course, 'Le Spa de Constance' which not only provides a variety of relaxing massage and beauty treatments but also offers a gym, aerobics, yoga and meditation classes, a unique cascading three-tiered swimming pool, a range of watersports including kayaking, hobie cat sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving and deep sea fishing, a Children’s ‘Turtle Club’ (from 4 - 12 years) – and flood-lit tennis courts.

Praslin is less mountainous than Mahé – and boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, many of which you will quickly discover are completely empty. This is the perfect island to forget cars – and use bikes and ‘legs’ (mountain bikes are available for hire at the resort).

Lémuria’s three restaurants blend traditional Creole flavours with French and Thai influences –with the much-loved informal Beach Bar & Grill being one of the favourites.

PRICES Prices per person for 5 nights in a Junior Suite range from £960 in low season (£166 per person per night) to £1230 in high season (£220 per person per night) including breakfast, the return flight from Mahé and airport transfers by private car.
