This architecturally designed villa-style apartment is set high above Nelson’s harbour with panoramic views out over Tasman Bay to the National Park and stunning mountain ranges beyond.

Ideal for two couples, Abel Tasman Villa is totally self-contained with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, living area with open fire, two double bedrooms (each with its own bathroom) and extensive outdoor decking which takes full advantage of the wonderful harbour views. A lock-up garage is also available. Your host, Nicola, lives separately in the house below and she supplies breakfast provisions ready for your first day’s arrival.

The Nelson waterfront is only a short walk downhill where you can enjoy the best of the local seafood accompanied by Nelson’s premium boutiques wines. The Boatshed Café (which is set on the harbour in an historic overwater boatshed) is a ‘must’ - and the vibrant and lively Fish Bizarre is also worth a visit. If you fancy venturing a little further afield, ‘The Smokehouse Restaurant’ at nearby Mapua (renowned for its smoked fish and chips), is a great spot to while away a Saturday lunchtime.
