Your host will happily advise you on some of the best local secrets for sightseeing - otherwise, just revel in the solitude afforded by the secluded retreat in the far north of New Zealand. Nearby Russell has several shops and a choice of restaurants - as well as a wonderful stretch of golden beachfront. Accommodation is also available in the main house with either the Island Studio, a self contained queen bedded room with sitting room and kitchen, or the Bay Bach which includes the Island Studio and an adjoining super-king bedroom.
