Kenya’s location on the equator means that there are no extremes of winter and summer. The rainy season is from April to the end of May with some short rains in November. The coolest months are July and August and the warmest months run from the end of December to mid-March. The best time to visit is usually between July to February – and the great wildebeest migration (between the Serengeti and the Masai Mara) generally occurs annually between July and September.
