Prices for Kicheche Mara Camp from £310 per person per night twin share – and for Kicheche Bush Camp from £345 per person per night twin share – including all meals, local beverages, game activities, bush walks and airstrip transfers. The scheduled flight or private charter is additional. Kicheche Mara Camp is closed April and May and Bush Camp is closed mid-March to end May and mid-November to mid-December.
Both Kenyan Airways and British Airways offer direct flights daily to Nairobi with onward connections throughout East Africa. Fares start at £160 return plus £290 taxes and fuel surcharges, although both airlines have special offers throughout the year so it is always worth checking with our Sales Consultants.

KICHECHE MARA CAMP A sense of wilderness living prevails at this intimate canvas bush camp which is located on the Aitong Plains in the north of the Masai Mara. Hidden in a grove of wild olive trees in a prolific wildlife area, game viewing starts right from the camp itself. Accommodation is provided in 11 spacious East African style tents with en-suite authentic ‘bucket’ shower and flush toilet. There are canvas director’s chairs on the verandah and hammocks slung between nearby trees – and the communal Nyati tent has a collection of fascinating reference books. Visits to local Maasai villages and the nearby community at Aitong, where Kicheche supports the nursery and primary schools, are available. Access is via a daily flight from Nairobi to the Mara Ngerende airstrip followed by a 30 minute game drive. See pictures 1-3 KICHECHE BUSH CAMP Located in the Olare Orok Conservancy bordering the Masai Mara Reserve, Kicheche Bush Camp offers an incomparable game-viewing experience without crowds – and its unique situation is ideal for experiencing the wildebeest migration. Small and exclusive, Bush Camp accommodates up to 12 guests in its six stylish en-suite tents (also with ‘bucket’ shower and flushing toilet). Visits to local villages and schools are available, as is an escorted walking safari to an overnight fly-camp in the bush – a unique opportunity to see the Mara from a different perspective (additional cost applies). Access is via a scheduled flight from Nairobi to the Mara Ol Kiombo airstrip followed by a 45 minute drive. See pictures 4-7
