Crown Beach Resort

Located on the north-western sunset side of Rarotonga, Crown Beach Resort boasts 22 traditional thatched villas spread over 41/2 acres of tropical gardens.

The individual Polynesian-style villas feature teak hardwood furniture – and each has a separate bedroom, bathroom, living area and a spacious verandah. The Beachfront Spa Villas benefit from a jacuzzi on the verandah and command breathtaking ocean and sunset views, whilst a further 11 villas are nestled in the tropical gardens or around the resort’s freshwater swimming pool. Two bedroom villas, ideal for friends or families travelling together, are also available. July 2007 sees the opening of an additional 12 villas at Crown Beach, nestled amidst the tropical gardens and boasting private plunge pools.

Crown Beach’s Windjammer Restaurant serves the very best of Pacific Rim cuisine whilst Oceans Restaurant & Bar offers casual dining and exotic cocktails with spectacular ocean and sunset views. 'Island night' (a Polynesian show including dancing and an island feast) is held every Tuesday.

The resort is also home to ‘Your Beauty & Spa’ – a sanctuary offering a variety of rejuvenating treatments and massages as well as the Cook Islands' only Hydrotherapy Spa.

Snorkelling equipment and canoes are available for guests’ use – and there is also an onsite dive centre and gym.
